50th Annual Lewis County Fair Announces Full 2026 Schedule — Here’s What You Don’t Want To Miss
LEWISTOWN, Mo- The 2026 Lewis County Fair will bring a full week of livestock shows, youth exhibits, pageants, family activities, entertainment, and grandstand events to the fairgrounds this summer.
Fair activities begin Saturday, June 27, with the 4-H and FFA Open Horse Show at the Lewis County Fair Grounds Main Arena. Registration will be held from 8 to 9 a.m., with the show scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.

The main fair schedule opens Monday, July 6, with vendor setup, the 4-H and FFA Cat Show, livestock judging, Home Economics and Open Floriculture registration, and the 4-H and FFA Open Dog Show.
Season passes may be purchased at the Lewis County Fair office at the fairgrounds on Monday, July 6, from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. After that date, passes may be purchased at the ticket gate.
Tuesday, July 7, will feature several youth and livestock events, including the 4-H and FFA Rabbit Show, Home Economics Open Show judging, Open Dairy Show, 4-H and FFA Ham and Honey Show, Little Mr. and Miss Contest, Princess Contest, Junior Miss Contest and the 2026 Lewis County Fair Queen Contest.

Wednesday, July 8, is scheduled as Family Fun Night, with kids 12 and under admitted free. It is also Senior Day, with $5 admission for ages 65 and older. Events that day include the 4-H and FFA Poultry Show and Rooster Crowing Contest, senior day activities in the hospitality building, the 4-H and FFA Trophy Presentation, a garden tractor pull, carnival, cake walk, petting zoo, pedal power tractor pull and other family activities.


Thursday, July 9, will include the 4-H, FFA and Open Goat Show, Sheep Show and Beef Show, along with a kids DIY flag T-shirt activity, Baby Contest, carnival, beer garden, truck and tractor pull, and DJ music in the beer garden.


Friday, July 10, will bring another busy day at the fairgrounds, beginning with the 4-H, FFA and Open Swine Show. Other events include the fair parade, carnival, Power Wheels Demolition Derby, the 50th Annual Dedication Parade for past and present fair board and 4-H members, demolition derby, fireworks and live music from Jake McVey in the beer garden.

The fair will wrap up Saturday, July 11, with the 4-H, FFA and Open Bucket Calf Show, Beef Show, farmers market, dairy exhibits, kids contest, wing contest, cornhole tournament, 4-H livestock awards, ham and honey silent auction, 4-H and FFA Market Animal Sale and the release of 4-H indoor exhibits.



The final night will feature Night of Destruction in the main arena and music from Them Smokin’ Crawdadys in the beer garden.
Youth, commercial and home economics buildings will be open during multiple days of the fair, with several livestock and exhibit deadlines listed throughout the week. Fairgoers are encouraged to review the full schedule for registration times, judging times and event-specific details.
The Lewis County Fair remains one of the county’s largest annual gatherings, bringing together 4-H and FFA members, families, local vendors, exhibitors, volunteers and fair supporters for a week of competition, entertainment and community tradition.
