CRIST SHINES ON SENIOR NIGHT; HIGHLAND, CANTON, PALMYRA BATTLE IN GOLF
Lewistown, MO – The Highland Cougars hosted their last home golf match of the season as they competed with fellow Lewis County school Canton and Clarence Cannon Conference rivals Palmyra. It was also Senior Night for Highland’s Morgan Crist. Both teams were looking to gain momentum as they continue to build toward Districts.
Highland came out on top with a team score of 180. Canton finished second with 213, while Palmyra followed close behind at 217.
Crist made the most of her Senior Night, carding a 38 to place first individually. She was followed by teammates Georgia Klocke (44) and Ava Hudson (46), along with Palmyra’s Avery Trower (48). Canton’s Raelyn Merida rounded out the top five with a 50.

The Highland Cougars are back in action on October 1st as they head to Chillicothe for a tune-up for Districts, as Chillicothe will be hosting Districts. The Canton Tigers will be home the same day at River Valley Golf Club as they host three other schools and celebrate senior night.
