Hurdland City Council Minutes February 18th, 2026
HUEDLAND, MO- *Key notes from the most recently approved City of Hurdland special meeting held on February 18, 2026:
The Hurdland Board met in special session and was called to order at 6:04 p.m. with Luther Green, Tom Boatman, Curtis Mason, Julie Green, Doug Barton, and Courtland Shobe present.
The board took action on court costs, approving the court cost schedule from the prior meeting and assigning it as Ordinance 40.
The board then addressed animal regulations. The minutes note the repeal of an outdated Ordinance 36 and the approval of an updated Ordinance 36 after it was read in full and discussed. The minutes also note that the kennel fee applies to unfixed animals of four or more, and that citywide enforcement (including animal licensing) will take place after residents are notified of enforcement. The updated Ordinance 36 was approved.
The next regular meeting was noted as March 9, 2026. The meeting adjourned at 7:06 p.m.
