Hurdland City Council Minutes February 9th, 2026
HURDLAND, MO- *Key notes from the most recently approved City of Hurdland meeting minutes for the February 9, 2026 City Council meeting.
The meeting was called to order at 6:08 p.m. The council approved the meeting minutes, approved the financial statement, and approved bills to be paid (all motions passed).
The council approved a court costs schedule.
Ordinance 36 (animal regulations) was discussed, with terminology and definitions updated. A special meeting was scheduled for February 18, 2026 to repeal an outdated ordinance, conduct readings, and take board approval.
Letters regarding municipal violations were prepared and approved.
The next regular meeting was set for March 9, 2026. The meeting adjourned at 6:34 p.m.
Items listed under “New Business” for a future meeting included wages and MO One Call bills, approval of special meeting minutes, mowing bids to be advertised with bids due by April 13 (including a mowing stipulation for July 2 or 3 and a trimming schedule question), permission for the annual Fourth of July celebration to use the park, spring cleanup in May, and a hazard mitigation resolution.
