William Gilbert Clark, Jr. 59 of Canton, Missouri passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 10:32 AM at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.

The son of William and Katherine Scott Clark, Sr. was born on February 10, 1967 at Jefferson City, Missouri.

He was united in marriage to Luana Jan “Lou” Rayhart on February 5, 1994 in Olean, Missouri.  She preceded him in death on June 21, 2026.

Bill drove a semi for 40 years, 15 of those years for Combined Transport of Portage, Indiana.  He liked to trout fish with a catfish pole and eat chili dogs.  He loved spending time with his granddaughter and watching his nephews compete in demolition derby’s.

He is survived by his mother, Katherine Clark of Eldon, Mo.; a daughter, Pam (Trent) Thorne of Canton, Mo.; two sons, Shaun Rayhart of Cameron, Mo. and Shawn Close of Topeka, Ks.; a granddaughter, Cally Thorne “Bug” of Canton, Mo.; two sisters, Betty (Jason) Wray of Eldon, Mo. and Janice (Dave) Brewer of Tipton, Mo.; and several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and wife.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 25, 2026 beginning at 1:00 PM at Meramec Springs Park, 21880 Meramec Springs Drive, St. James, Missouri 65559.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital which may be left at or mailed to Arnold’s Funeral Home, 1100 White St., Canton, MO  63435.
