Amy E. Goacher, 67, of Canton, MO left this Earth to be with her heavenly Father at 10:30 AM, Thursday, December 4, 2025, at her home in Canton, MO.
Amy was born on January 17, 1958, in Carthage, MO.
Amy’s professional life included work as a receptionist, bookkeeper, and beautician. Amy was a breast cancer survivor. She never let treatment or the side effects get her down. She enjoyed the simple joys of life—browsing craft shows, playing bingo and Yahtzee, bowling, and indulging her love of shoes. Made a hobby of collecting salt and pepper shakers and loved relaxing with a good book. Above all, she adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Always the steady head and loving heart of her family.
Survivors include her children, Mekenzie (Tony) Chancellor of Canton, MO, Amanda Goacher of Columbia, MO, grandchildren, Tristan Austin, Taylor Ferguson, Amy Goacher, Jimma Chancellor, Waylon Chancellor, Augustus Chancellor, two great grandchildren, Paislee and Cam, sisters, Bonnie (Jeremy) Morgan of Canton, MO, Jean Cross of Las Vegas, NV, nieces, Angel Cross, Hallie Lang-Kells and best friend, Windy Bileck
Amy was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Audie Morris and Andy Morris.
Amy was a member of the Wyaconda Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the Davis Funeral Home in Canton, MO. Orlie Yoder will officiate.
Friends and Family are invited to Amy’s Life Celebration at a visitation that will be held from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the Davis Funeral Home in Canton, MO.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home in Canton, MO.
