Community Invited To Support LillyJean Roberts At Poker Run Benefit
MAYWOOD, Mo — A benefit poker run will be held Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026, to support LillyJean Roberts and her family as she continues her fight against Stage 4 Ewing sarcoma.
LillyJean, 9, was diagnosed in July 2025 at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Since then, her family has faced the emotional and financial challenges that come with ongoing medical care, travel and time away from work.
The Poker Run #10 Benefit for LillyJean Roberts will begin at 724 County Road 139 in Maywood. Check-in starts at 9:30 a.m., and the ride begins at 11 a.m. The route will cover approximately 30 miles and include three stops.
The cost is $20 per rider, and children 12 and younger may participate for free. Side-by-sides, ATVs, four-wheelers and other vehicles are welcome.
A free-will donation meal will follow the ride, and a live auction also will be held after the ride. Organizers said 100% of the proceeds will benefit LillyJean and her family.
This is a chance for the community to come together, show support and stand beside a young girl and her family during a difficult season. Whether someone rides, donates, attends the meal, bids at the auction or simply offers prayers and encouragement, every show of support matters.
