Missouri Spring Turkey Season Information.
One of the most popular hunting seasons in Missouri is Spring Turkey Season. Many
people take to the woods each spring in pursuit of what can be one of the most exciting
and challenging animals to harvest in Missouri.
This year the Spring Turkey season dates are as followed.
Spring Youth Season: 4/11-4/12
Spring Season: 4/20-5/10
Changes of note for residents and hunters of Lewis County are as follows
- Hunters using a Nonresident Spring Turkey Hunting Permit may now take
only one turkey during the spring seasons (youth and regular seasons
combined). This change affects only hunters using a Nonresident Spring
Turkey Hunting Permit. Hunters using any other valid turkey permit (including
a Nonresident Landowner Spring Turkey Hunting Permit) may still take two
turkeys. - Youth hunters who harvest a turkey during youth season may now harvest
their second turkey during the first week of the regular season (if they are
eligible to harvest two turkeys; see bullet point directly above). This change
applies only to youth hunters who harvest a turkey during youth season. All
hunters who harvest a turkey during the first week of the regular spring turkey
season must wait until April 27 to harvest their second turkey. - Permit prices have increased.
a. Resident $19.50
b. Youth $9.75
c. Non-Resident $304.50
