Donald Eugene Hall, 78 of LaBelle, Missouri passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.

The son of Ralph and Leatha Menke Fifer was born on July 2, 1947 at home on Menke Hill in rural LaBelle, Missouri.

Donald graduated from LaBelle High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War receiving a Bronze Star and Purple Heart.  He was a member of the Lewis County Memorial Post #578 and longtime member of the Highland Booster Club.  He worked at Electric Wheel and later retired from MFA.  He enjoyed gardening, barbecuing, canning and listening to the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs games on the radio.  He also liked to listen to the general store on KMEM and watching “Wheel of Fortune” and “The Price Is Right”.

He is survived by his three children, Darin (Lucinda) Hall of Lee’s Summit, Mo., Jason (Heather) Hall of Canton, Mo. and Tina (Dan) Grindle of Ewing, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Zachary (Bailey) Abell, Hunter Hall, Haley (Cole) Ivey, Harrison (Megan) Hall, Miranda Abell, Marissa (Ethan) Wingerter, Jace Hall and Jaxson Hall; three great grandchildren, Will, Sam and Arlen Abell; special friend, Kay Clay of LaBelle, Mo.; sister, Diane Brumbaugh of Lewistown, Mo.; four brothers, James (Gidget) Fifer of LaBelle, Mo., Darrell (Terri) Fifer of Odessa, Tx., Geoge (Vanissa) Fifer of LaBelle, Mo., Eddie Fifer of Carterville, Mo.; sister-in-law, Laura Hall of LaBelle, Mo.; brother-in-law, Tim Sykes of Garland, Tx.   

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Tracy Hall, great grandson, Asher Abell, sister, Debbie Sykes, brother, Danny Hall and a niece, Leah Hall.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Coder Funeral Home in LaBelle, Missouri with Pastor Lance Bonnell officiating.  Inurnment with military honors by Lewis County Memorial Post #578 will be in the LaBelle Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 20, 2025 from 10 AM until the time of services at Coder Funeral Home in LaBelle.

Memorials may be made to the Lewis County Memorial Post #578, American Legion.

Honorary Pallbearers: Zachary Abell, Hunter Hall, Haley Ivey, Harrison Hall, Miranda Abell, Marissa Wingerter, Jace Hall and Jaxson Hall.
