La Grange, MO City Meeting Minutes for Nov 24th, 2025
Key notes from LaGrange City Council meeting held on November 24, 2025:
The council met at 5:30 p.m. with Mayor Bob Corbin presiding. Barry Pfister opened the meeting with prayer, and all six council members were present. The consent agenda — including the November 24, 2025 agenda, the November 10, 2025 minutes, the bills, and the treasurer’s report — was approved unanimously. There were no public comments or presentations, and there were no questions for the city engineer.
From the clerk’s office, the council approved calling a city election for April 21, 2026, with candidate filing to run from December 29, 2025 through February 3, 2026.
City Administrator John Roach reported that a summary of an engineering agreement had been provided to the council, asking members to review it before the next meeting, when engineer Mark Bross will attend to answer questions.
On the marijuana ordinance, John said he had contacted facilities with wholesale microbusiness licenses, and those he spoke with reported no issues. The council then voted to post Bill/Ordinance 2025-682, which amends Chapter 601 on medical marijuana facilities and updates the city’s marijuana facility restrictions. The council also agreed to allow Bomb Gardens LLC to move forward with obtaining a business license.
Under old business, John noted he plans to ask the council at the next meeting to seek requests for proposals for new auditors. Under new business, he said he will also be bringing a model ordinance for the council to consider regarding illegal gaming machines. With no further business, the meeting adjourned at 5:59 p.m.This is an easy-to-read summary and not the actual minutes.
