Braves out pace Wildcats Lacrosse 16-6

Canton, MO — The Culver-Stockton Lacrosse team fell to the Ottawa Braves, 16-6, after a quick 10 unanswered goals from the Braves put the Cats behind. Jacee Grinsteiner broke through in the second quarter with 3:56 remaining. However, Ottawa would go into the half up 12-1. Ottawa wouldn’t let up as they outscored the Cats 3-1 in the third. But the Wildcats would manage to outscore the Braves in the fourth 4-1. However, the game had been sealed.

Grinnsteiner finished the game with 3 goals on the day, and Addison Holm followed with 2.

The Wildcats fall to fourth in the conference standings, 4-8 (2-2), with 2 road games remaining. They will head to St. Louis to take on the Missouri Baptist Spartans in a conference showdown. With a chance to hold their fourth spot and claim a home playoff game.
