Brenda Kay Allen Obituary
Brenda Kay Allen, 59 of Lewistown, Missouri passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.
The daughter of Dwight and Dorothy Scott Healy was born on November 10, 1966 in Kansas City, Kansas.
She was married to John Allen who preceded her in death.
Brenda worked as a cashier at Wal-Mart, where some customers would repeatedly choose her line to see her. She was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Kansas City, Kansas. She was a good hearted person who would do anything for anybody that she could. She enjoyed going fishing and watching her CSI shows. She loved her beloved cat, Cleopatra.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister, Pam Cornett and a brother, Roy Healy.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the New Story Church, 5500 Woodend Ave. Kansas City, Kansas with Mike Panjada officiating. Inurnment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 9, 2026 from 9 AM until the time of services at New Story Church.
