FIRST ONE IN THE BOOKS; Wildcats Cruise Past UHSP 95–62
Canton, MO – The Wildcats finally secured their first win of the season, defeating the University of Health, Sciences, and Pharmaceutical (UHSP) Eutectics 95-62. After suffering back-to-back losses at the start of the season, the Wildcats dominated the game, maintaining the lead throughout without ever trailing the Eutectics. The team converted 34 of their 59 field goal attempts, including five three-pointers. Damar Jenkins was the standout performer, leading the team with 16 points.

Fellow players Damont Hanton and Ramzee Salem each contributed 15 points, while Travis Green III added 14 points. Kamren Wires had an impressive performance as well.
Quincy native Kamren Wires led the Wildcats with six assists, topped the game in steals with three, and collected five rebounds, all while scoring 12 points in 23 minutes of play.

The game was very physical, with a total of 39 personal fouls being called.
With this victory, the Wildcats improve their record to 1-2 overall. They will head on the road for a rematch against Harris-Stowe on November 8th.
