LEWISTOWN, MO- *Key notes from the most recently approved Lewistown City Council meeting held on March 2, 2026
Collector Rachel McKenzie reported that the remaining tax receipts have been sent to those who have paid, and that reminders will be sent to those who have not paid for 2024 and 2025.
The council approved a quote from Scott Harrison for $3,200 to put up the piers on the new shelter house.
The council also approved paying $2,200 as the city’s portion of the cost for a new concrete sidewalk installed in front of Cafe 6 Coffeehouse.
Spring clean-up was discussed, but the date has not yet been determined.

Mayor Sharpe said he is also getting a quote from Scott Harrison for concrete for a new basketball/pickle ball court and will provide updates once more information is available.
The council approved Dollar General’s application to sell alcohol on Sundays.
