Men’s Volleyball Can’t Overcome Eutectics in Conference Opener

Canton, Mo. – The Culver-Stockton Wildcats competed in their conference opener as they took on the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy Eutectics of St. Louis. Falling to the Eutectics 3 sets to 2.

The Wildcats opened up the competition, winning set one 25-21. The Eutectics would claim the next two sets, 25-22 and 25-21, to gain a 2-1 lead over the Wildcats. The Wildcats would survive set four, going to extra points, winning 26-24. It would all come down to set five, where the Eutectics would claim the set 15-11 and win the conference opener.
