Super Late Model Race Series Dig in Scotland County


Memphis, MO — Despite early weather, the Scotland County Raceways crew got to work and prepared the track as they hosted the Super Late Model Race Series on Saturday. With a total of 65 cars, the B-Mods came out with 24 cars, the Late Models contributed 19 cars, the 13 Stocks, and the 9 Hobby Stocks ran around the track.

The B-Mods opened the Features, where #14L Brandon Lambert traveled from Carthage to hold the lead and pick up the victory. Cody Agee of Huntsville, MO, climbed from second to finish runner-up. Lucas Eddy in the #5% climbed from 15th to finish third for the Milan racer.

The Super Late Models took to the track, where #22 Charlie McKenna of Ames, IA, picked up a win after starting second. #6 Jake Neal traveled from Omaha, NE, to finish second, and #04 Tad Pospisil came from Norfolk for a third-place finish.

In the Stock Class, #41 Thor Anderson earned a dominant victory and headed to Monro, IA, with hardware. Derrick Agee of Huntsville grabbed second, climbing to the #14, followed by Randy Rindom of Kirksville in the #48R, who claimed third.

In the Hobby Stock Class, Spenscer Hopwood of Des Moines, IA, moved from fourth to take first in the #5H. The #3 of Masen Rash of Shelbina, MO, claimed second. Garrett Proter of Libertyville, IA, took third in the 746.

Scotland County will return to action on July 11th for the Scotland County Fair. With six classes to show.
