The teams ended the third quarter tied at 26. Building on Brewer’s two early three-pointers in the third, the Tigers found their rhythm, and Uhlmeyer contributed another 10 points to help secure the win.

After the game, Coach Danielle Baker shared her thoughts on Brewer and Uhlmeyer and their impact on the team. “Brenna is a great three-point shooter. She’s been a great three-point shooter all year. She hit three threes there in the fourth, and we won by ten, so there’s the difference right there,” she explained. Coach Baker also noted, “Chayse is just super athletic and crafty. She’s really smart and can just execute.”

The Tigers will now shift their focus to Monday, when they face the Hannibal Lady Pirates in the opening round of the 83rd Annual Tony Lenzini Tournament in Plamyra. Tip-off is set for 4:30.

Coach Baker discusses participating in the tournament. “I really like the tournament. It’s a lot of fun, ran really well. It’s always got a lot of good teams in it, and we look forward to playing in it.”
