LEWIS COUNTY, MO -Lewis County Voters. My name is Tammy Logsdon seeking RE-ELECTION as Lewis County Assessor. Being a lifelong resident of Lewis County. Married to Kent Logsdon with three children Cami Logsdon, Kayla Wentz and Jessie Sommers with eight grandchildren.
Elected as your Lewis County Assessor, November 2016 and being sworn into office September 1, 2017. Since taking my oath to the office my highest priority has been fair and consistent assessed values on real estate and personal property for the residence of Lewis County. Implementing new technology that has made the office more efficient for the work load that the office encounters.
Education in the Assessor’s Office is an important factor to maintain, please find listed below a list of classes that I have taken and received a certification in to improve my duties as the Assessor:
IAAO 101 – Fundamentals of Real Property Appraisal
IAAO 201 – Valuation of Land
IAAO 300 – Fundamentals of Mass Appraisal
IAAO 400 – Assessment Administration
Better manager, PR Customer Service
Building of I & E; Valuation of Lodging Props and Self Storage
Valuation of Green Res & Com Bldgs: Valuation of Big Box
Valuation of Senior Housing, Manufactured Homes & Mobile Home Parks
Also, I previously worked in the Lewis County Assessor’s Office as the Real Estate Clerk from Nov. 1999 to 2006.
