June 17, 2024
The Commission met pursuant to order of adjournment on June 10, 2024, with Presiding Commissioner Wayne Murphy Jr., and Associate Commissioners Travis Fleer and Deanne Whiston were present. When and where the following proceedings were had to wit: Commissioner Murphy called the meeting to order:
Minutes: Commissioner Fleer made a motion to approve minutes for June 10, 2024. Commissioner Murphy seconded; Commissioner Whiston agreed. Approved 3-0.
Payroll: Commissioner Murphy motioned to approve the payment of warrants #203382-203383 from General fund, warrants #203384-203389 from Road & Bridge fund, warrants #203390 from Assessment fund, and warrant # from LEOF. Commissioner Whiston seconded; Commissioner Fleer agreed. Passed 3-0.
Payroll: Commissioner Murphy motioned to approve the payment by EFTP of warrants #2897- 2913 from General fund, warrants #2914-2916 from Road & Bridge fund, warrants #2917-2918 from Assessment fund, and warrant #2919-2934 from LEOF fund. Commissioner Whiston seconded; Commissioner Fleer agreed. Approved 3-0.
Bills: Commissioner Whiston motioned to approve the payments of warrants #32035-32043 from General Revenue, warrants #22242-22249 from Road & Bridge, warrants #5782-5783 from the Assessment, warrants #20985-20988 from L.E.O.F, and warrants # from Co Farm. Commissioner Murphy seconded; Commissioner Fleer agreed. Approved 3-0.
Road & Bridge: Road and Bridge Supervisor Larry Janes and Secretary Colclough were present.
Howe and Company gave a project update for BRO-R056 Bridge #12200071 for the 4th quarter they also sent a progress invoice #9 for a total of $4146.30

Roy mowed- #502, 511, 504, 505
Delivered tubes to Lewistown Tire
Did storm clean up and cut trees off the roadways
Other Business: The commission signed the appointment letter to have Craig Redmond serve on the NECAC board
Collector Lay was in to let the commission know that Quadent Leasing USA was over assessed 124,840 for the tax year 2023 and charged $7,672.69 when their bill should have been $30.62- Collector Lay asked the commission how they thought she should move forward with the reimbursement- Collector Lay has talked to other counties who had General Revenue pay the reimbursement and send a letter to have the entities pay back the portion of that payment they were paid
John Wood was in to discuss the Enterprise Zone and wanted the commission to look into Wellness Meats not being charged sales tax to build a new building- the commission looked through old minutes and ordinances and found that the Enterprise Zone was a property tax exemption not sales tax
Adjourn: Motion to adjourn to Monday, June 24, 2024, by Commissioner Murphy. Commissioner Whiston seconded; Commissioner Fleer agreed, passed 3-0.
