Lahr Claims Third Regional Title; Eyes Sectional Round

Camp Point, Ill — Senior wrestler Bradi Lahr, the #1 seed in the 157-pound Class 1A regional bracket, advanced through the rounds at Camp Point, Ill., earning a trip to the sectional. Focused on progressing in the tournament, he entered the competition determined to succeed.

To begin his day, Bradi took on Farmington’s Johnathan Peters, claiming a first-round victory by pinfall.

Building on his initial success, Bradi advanced to the semifinals, where he faced Monmouth (United)’s Bob Kendall and again secured a win by fall in the first round.

In the final round, Bradi Lahr matched with Canton’s Alex Carrier. Here, Lahr earned a 3-0 decision, clinching his third Regional Championship in his high school career.

Next for Bradi is the Class 1A Sectional round, hosted at Olympia High School in Stanford, Ill., on February 13th.
