Lewis County Emergency Personnel Honored for Lifesaving August 2025 Medical Call


EWING, MO – Clinical save awards honoring Lewis County EMS, fire and law enforcement responders were presented Jan. 20, 2026, at the Ewing Fire Station in recognition of their role in a lifesaving medical emergency that took place back in August 2025.

The event highlighted how coordinated teamwork during the medical call helped save a patient’s life. Awards were presented by Jason Fenton, a representative with ZOLL, which manufactures the AutoPulse, an automated, portable device that provides hands-free chest compressions during CPR.
