Tigers Celebrate Seniors, Fall to Kirksville

CANTON, MO – On Thursday, October 16th, the Canton Tiger Soccer Team honored its seniors on senior night. Followed by a match against the Kirksville Tigers. The Tigers had two seniors in their program this year. Aiden Gaither and Colston Hoffman. Also team managers, MaryKate McReynolds, and Emma Thrower

Following the Senior festivities, the Canton Tigers competed in a match with the Kirksville Tigers, falling 8-0 to Kirksville. Canton was able to put up four shots; however, Kirksville’s overwhelming 10 shots would get the job done.

The Canton Tigers will stay in action at home as they host the Quincy Blue Devils on Tuesday, October 21st, at 4:00 PM. It will be the second match between the Tigers and Blue Devils. The last match in Quincy ended in a draw. The Tigers will wrap up their regular season on the road against Mexico on the 27th, before heading to Veritas Christian Academy for the Class 1 District 3 Tournament. Seeding has not yet been determined.
