MONTICELLO, MO- *Key notes from the most recently approved Lewis County Commission meeting held on April 20, 2026

Road & Bridge Supervisor Drew Frese and Secretary Colclough reported that a progress invoice was signed for the Orange Street Bridge. 

Crews reported ongoing maintenance work, including grading, cleaning up downed trees, patching roads, mowing, and hauling rock. 

The minutes also note LTAP contacted Road & Bridge about a gravel road and grader training opportunity connected to LaGrange Special Road.

In other business, Southern Commissioner Fleer contacted Full-Service Roofing about multiple damaged soffit spots and the commission stated they want the damage repaired per the contract before paying the second portion of the bill. 

The minutes also note mowing work and a change in the mowing price going forward.

Deputy Sly submitted the leave balance report, and the minutes note the commission had an exit call with the auditors.
