April 8, 2024
The Commission met pursuant to order of adjournment on April 1, 2024, with Presiding Commissioner Wayne Murphy Jr., and Associate Commissioners Travis Fleer and Deanne Whiston were present. When and where the following proceedings were had to wit: Commissioner Murphy called the meeting to order:
Minutes: Commissioner Fleer made a motion to approve minutes for April 1, 2024. Commissioner Murphy seconded; Commissioner Whiston agreed. Approved 3-0.
Payroll: Commissioner Murphy motioned to approve the payment of warrants #203336 from General fund, warrants #203338-203343 from Road & Bridge fund, warrants #203344 from Assessment fund, and warrant # from LEOF. Commissioner Whiston seconded; Commissioner Fleer agreed. Passed 3-0.
Payroll: Commissioner Murphy motioned to approve the payment by EFTP of warrants #2703- 2719 from General fund, warrants #2720-2722 from Road & Bridge fund, warrants #2723-2724 from Assessment fund, and warrant #2725-2740 from LEOF fund. Commissioner Whiston seconded; Commissioner Fleer agreed. Approved 3-0.
Bills: Commissioner Whiston motioned to approve the payments of warrants #318811-31893 from General Revenue, warrants # 22161-22168 from Road & Bridge, warrants #5756-5758 from the Assessment, warrants #20911-20919 from L.E.O.F, and warrants # from Co Farm. Commissioner Murphy seconded; Commissioner Fleer agreed. Approved 3-0.
Road & Bridge: Road and Bridge Supervisor Larry Janes and Secretary Colclough were present. Hauled conservation rock
Moved the monuments to the shop until landscaping is done
Took the 2005 Mack to Robert’s- had an air leak
Checked roads
IMI picked up the tractor
Fixed boil on road #542- Raleigh’s road- black top
Luby Equipment did the 500 hour service for the backhoe
Serviced the 2010 John Deere Grader oil change and air filters
Other Business: Renodry USA submitted a inspection report and a project estimate for $24,085.00
Gallagher sent a client coverage acknowledgement and compensation disclosure statement for Lewis County Missouri to be signed
Clerk Sapp submitted the March court order report
Recorder Parrish submitted her March report
Deputy Sly submitted the Leave Balance report
Schraeder Law had an invoice
Clerk Sapp submitted the State Tax Commission quarterly report to be signed by Commissioner Murphy
The Commission signed the County Health Officer Resolution #04-08-2024
Deputy Sly called CIC about the Tax Maintenance line item- she is waiting on a call back
CPA Kelly Kern submitted the SLERF report for the commission to approve
Sheriff Parrish would like benches in front of the sheriff’s office to match the benches in front of the courthouse
Treasurer Roberson had Public Agency checks #3625-3638
Commissioner Whiston made a motion to have Stopp & VanHoy do the Alternate Compliance Examination Engagement Audit (ACEE) for $8,000.00. Commissioner Fleer seconded; Commissioner Murphy agreed. Approved 3-0.
The commission agreed to not pay $1,000.00 to The Center for Public Counties
Adjourn: Motion to adjourn to Monday, April 15, 2024, by Commissioner Murphy. Commissioner Whiston seconded; Commissioner Fleer agreed, passed 3-0.
