Barry Pfister gave the opening prayer.
Mayor Bob Corbin called the meeting to order.
Roll Call: Councilmember Robyn Cottrell present, Councilmember James Dade present, Councilmember Carol Henze present, Councilmember Gail Kindhart present, Council member Barry Pfister present, and Councilmember Don Zahn present.
City Employees/Visitors: City Administrator John Roach present, Deputy City Clerk Lezlie Meyer present, City Attorney Jeff Curl present, City Engineer Mark Bross present, Wastewater Superintendent Mike Henderson present, Chief of Police Aaron Johnson and Sgt. Jason Powell present. Also present: Tiffany Blickhan

Treasurer’s Report
Motion by Council member Pfister to approve the consent agenda, motion second by
Councilmember Henze, motion carried 6 yes.
CITY ENGINEER REPORT – Mark submitted a report.
Action Item – Motion by Councilmember Zahn to draft an ordinance to go with Option #4 to raise the water rates by $11.71 for three years and Option #2 to raise the sewer rates by $4.46 for three years to start with our fiscal year on May 1, 2024 and then May 1 the next 2 years to follow, motion second by Dade, motion carried 6 yes.
MAYOR’S REPORT – MML went well. He really enjoyed it and learned a lot. Thank you to
everyone that attended.
CITY CLERK’S REPORT –
CITY ADMINISTRATOR’S REPORT – MML was a good conference. Lots of information, always beneficial. Gail Kindhart was awarded Municipal Governess Institute Certified Municipal Official. Next is the Legislative Conference in Jefferson City in February.
OLD/UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Nothing
NEW BUSINESS:
MOTION BY COUNCILMEMBER ZAHN TO GO INTO CLOSED SESSION UNDER STATE STATUTE 610.021, SUBSECTION (2) REAL ESTATE, MOTION SECOND BY COUNCILMEMBER COTTRELL, MOTION CARRIED WITH THE FOLLOWING ROLL CALL VOTE: COTTRELL YES, DADE YES, HENZE YES, KINDHART YES, PFISTER YES, ZAHN YES.
Mayor Corbin announced that John received an email today that we were awarded the $500,000.00 grant for the lead project.
Adjournment: With nothing further before the Council, Councilmember Cottrell made the motion to adjourn at 6:34 p.m., motion second by Councilmember Zahn, motion carried 6 yes.
