Culver-Stockton Bounces Back with 3-0 Victory Over Yellowjackets
Canton, MO – The Culver-Stockton women’s volleyball team bounced back in a big way Tuesday night, sweeping Graceland 3-0 at the Joe Charles Field House.
The Wildcats, coming off a loss to No. 11 Missouri Baptist, responded with set wins of 25-18, 25-19, and 25-19. The home crowd played its part, as a packed student section kept the energy high all night.
Head coach Josh Branan praised the effort. “It’s awesome! You can’t ask for a better bounce back than that. The fight in these girls doesn’t stop and first home conference win feels pretty good.”
He also credited the atmosphere: “Students are awesome, through-and-through, and that was great energy. They brought it all night long.”
On the floor, Victoria Pollard led the Wildcats with 11 kills. “She just doesn’t stop, she doesn’t quit,” Branan said. “She just keeps hammering.”
Lauren Bloom added a strong serving performance, finishing with 6 aces and 16 assists.
