March 16th, 2026 – Lewis County Commission

*Key notes from the most recently approved Lewis County Commission meeting held on March 16, 2026:

The commission met with Presiding Commissioner Wayne Murphy Jr., Southern Commissioner Travis Fleer, and Northern Commissioner Craig Redmon present.

Road & Bridge Secretary Colclough was present. Supervisor Drew Frese did not attend the meeting because he was busy moving snow.

Commissioner Murphy signed Progress Invoice #25 in the amount of $355,396.86 payable to Bleigh Construction. The minutes also noted the Orange Street Bridge project is 46.9% complete.

In other business, Clerk Shannon Sapp submitted the February election fee report and the February sales tax report.

Sally with Poole Communication contacted the commission about designing the county seal.

Deputy Sly contacted ELAM to confirm all units were covered and plans to obtain a quote for all county building units. The meeting adjourned to reconvene on Monday, March 23, 2026.
