May 18th, 2026 – Lewis County Commission

*Key notes from the Lewis County Commission meeting held on May 18, 2026.

Road & Bridge Supervisor Drew Frese and Secretary Colclough reported ongoing maintenance work across multiple county roads, including grading, mowing, hauling rock, and clearing brush from road tubes.

The commission signed Invoice #28 in the amount of $310,206.00 to be paid to Bleigh for the Orange Street Bridge.

The commission also signed a conservation (CART) rock completion letter.

In other business, Deputy Sly submitted the leave balance report.

Treasurer Roberson submitted the April bank reconciliation report.

Clerk Sapp registered Northern Commissioner Redmon and herself for the data center summit on June 17, and also submitted the April sales tax report.

The commission adjourned to Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
