MONTICELLO, MO- *Key notes from the most recently approved Lewis County Commission meeting held on May 4, 2026.

The minutes note Clerk Shannon Sapp attended Missouri Sunshine Law training at the Knox County Community Center in Edina.

In other business, Clerk Sapp submitted the April budget report, April court order report, April election fees report, and April clerk fees report. 

Deputy Sly submitted the leave balance report, and Recorder Parrish submitted her April report.

 The commission declined making a proclamation for June as men health month. 

The minutes also note Kelly Kern submitted the annual SLFRF compliance report for 2026.

 Commissioner Murphy signed a Brightspeed certification of exemption from federal excise tax on communication services for all billing addresses.
