Nov 10th, 2025 – Lewis County Commission

November 10, 2025 

Commission met pursuant to order of adjournment on November 3, 2025, with Presiding Commissioner Wayne Murphy Jr., Associate Commissioners Travis Fleer, and Craig Redmon present. When and where the following proceedings were had to wit: Commissioner Murphy called the meeting to order: 

Minutes: Commissioner Murphy made a motion to approve minutes for November 3, 2025. Commissioner Fleer seconded; Commissioner Redmon agreed. Approved 3-0. 

Payroll: Commissioner Muphy made a motion to approve timecards from October 26th- November 8th, Commissioner Fleer seconded; Commissioner Redmon agreed. Approved 3-0. 

Bills: Commissioner Fleer motioned to approve the payments of warrants #33092-33107 from General Revenue, warrants # 22841-22852 from Road & Bridge, warrants #6016-6017 from the Assessment, warrants #21504-21510 from L.E.O.F, and warrants # from Co Farm. Commissioner Murphy seconded; Commissioner Redmon agreed. Approved 3-0. 

Road & Bridge: Road and Bridge Supervisor Drew Frese and Secretary Colclough were present. 

Replaced a tube in Durham along the black top 

Fixed 3 bridge rails on #356, 371 and 224 

Bladed #224, 233, 219, 433 

Roy finished mowing #552, 412, 420, and 424 then jumping to LaGrange Special 

Billy Joe replaced brakes and did an oil change on the 2010 Mack 

The new truck will be delivered today or Wednesday 

Driveway tube being laid today on #317 

Other Business: Treasurer wrote public entity checks #3918-3928 

Recorder Parrish submitted her October report 

Schraeder Law office sent an invoice 

Maywood Lawn Care sent an invoice 

Clerk Sapp submitted the 2026 Holiday and Pay schedule calendars for approval- the commission approved both calendars 

Treasurer Roberson submitted the October bank reconciliation report 

Commissioner Fleer texted Jt Gray to ask about the roof being fixed- he said they will call in a week or 2 to set up a date to replace the roof 

Adjourn: Motion to adjourn to Monday, November 17, 2025, by Commissioner Redmon, Commissioner Fleer seconded; Commissioner Murphy agreed, Approved 3-0.
