Sprint Invaders Electrify Scotland County Speedway


Memphis, MO — Scotland County Speedway saw some invaders. Sprint Invaders made their way to Northeast Missouri for high-octane racing action. Four classes of cars took to the track to pick up a win. There were 50 cars in the car count.

The Vintage Sprints opened the features with a 12-lap race. Ottumwa, Iowa’s Doug Sylvester in the #12x won after starting second. Hometown racer Tim Graham in the #12 finished second. Des Moines’ Chico Martinez in the #7 car climbed from sixth to third.

The Sprint Invaders class followed suit, with 21 cars taking to the track. The #1TAZ Tasker Phillips of Pleasantville, IA won after starting second. Cam Sorrels of Hallsville in the #57 climbed from eighth to finish second. Joey Moughan out of Springfield, IL took third place.

The Stock Cars took to the track, where the #14 Derrick Agee out of Huntsville, MO took first place. The #79S of Jason See finished second after climbing from fifth, and Mike Van Utrecht of New Sharon, IA climbed from eighth to finish third in the #27.

Lastly, the B Mods closed the night with Oskaloosa’s Brayton Carter finishing first after a fourth-place start. Oskaloosa’s Jarrett VanDenBerg finished second after starting sixth. Cody Agee out of Huntsville finished third after climbing from fifth.
