Semi-Finals conclude for the Tony Lenzini Tournament
The Semi Finals have concluded and the title matches have been set. The Brookfield Lady Bulldogs would take on the Clark County Lady Indians. Afterwards the Canton Tigers would duel it out with the Monroe City Panthers. The Highland Lady Cougars would have a rematch with the Monroe City Lady Panthers. Finally the Clark County Indians would battle the Brookfield Bulldogs.
Brookfield Lady Bulldogs vs Clark County Lady Indians
The Brookfield Lady Bulldogs would take down the Clark County Lady Indians 42-36 as they will move on to meet Canton Lady Tigers in the Consolation title match on Friday January 24th, 5:00 P.M. The Lewis County Scoop will provide their radio style broadcast of the game.
Canton Tigers vs Monroe City Panthers
The Monroe City Panthers would escape the Canton Tigers 75-73. They will move on to the boys championship and face Palmyra. That game will take place Saturday the 25th at 8:00 P.M. Meanwhile the Canton Tigers will move on to face Van-Far Indians on Saturday the 25th for a third place match.

The Tigers trailed most of the match as they battled all the way back. However they would still fall despite bringing the game to 2 point deficit. Oliver and Brewer lead the Offence with 16 points each. Brookfield would get lead by Marty Smyser with 21 points.

Highland Lady Cougars vs. Monroe City Lady Panthers

The Highland Lady Cougars continue to roll as they will move on to the championship after beating Monroe City 50-19. Addy Abell would lead the offence with a career high twenty-two points. Followed by Rothweiler with eighteen points. They will match up with the Hannibal Pirates Saturday. Tip-off slated for 6:30. The Scoop will broadcast this game.

Clark County Indians vs. Brookfield Bulldogs

To end the night the Clark County Indians would find their way to the consolation title match in a rematch with the Highland Cougars. They would beat the Bulldogs 62-40. That match is set for Friday at 6:30. The Scoop will broadcast that match.
