Tigers Fall to Ram’s; End Season in District Play

Queen City, MO — The Canton Tigers Baseball season has come to an end. Falling in district play to the number one seeded Schuyler County Rams 10-1.

The Rams would get to an early lead against the Tigers. With two runs in the bottom of the second, to get ahead 2-0. The Tigers would find a response in the top of the third. With a two-out walk to senior Ian Burbridge, senior Kaden Oliver would hit an RBI double to score Burbridge and make it a 2-1 game.

But the Rams would go on to score six runs in the bottom of the third to move ahead 8-1. The Rams would add a run in the fourth and another in the sixth to secure their win and move on in District play, bringing an end to the ‘Tigers’ season.

The Tigers ended their season 6-15 overall under first-year head coach Kegan Birck. The Tigers graduate six seniors. Ian Burbridge, Kaden Oliver, Kaeden Gollaher, Jayden Shuman, Drew Gottman, and Drew Logsdon.
