LaGrange July 4th Appreciation Day
LaGrange, MO — The annual LaGrange 4th of July Appreciation Party was definitely bigger and better for the 250th celebration of American Independence. The parade, plenty of vendors, variety of entertainment, and a fireworks display rivaled those of some of the biggest cities.
Mayor Bob Corbin agreed, saying the change in weather helped as well.
“It was a great celebration. We have it every year, but I think the weather this year really cooled down.”
Mayor Corbin felt that, with it being the 250th year of independence, they had to go all out on the fireworks display.
“We added quite a bit this year because it was the 250th… So the fireworks and all were bigger this year because of that.”
