February 12, 2024 

The Commission met pursuant to order of adjournment on February 5, 2024, with Presiding Commissioner Wayne Murphy Jr., and Associate Commissioners Travis Fleer present. When and where the following proceedings were had to wit: Commissioner Murphy called the meeting to order: 

Payroll: Commissioner Murphy motioned to approve the payment of warrants #203303-203304 from General fund, warrants #203305-203308 from Road & Bridge fund, warrants #203309 from Assessment fund, and warrant # from LEOF. Commissioner Fleer agreed. Passed 2-0. 

Payroll: Commissioner Murphy motioned to approve the payment by EFTP of warrants #2549- 2565 from General fund, warrants #2566-2568 from Road & Bridge fund, warrants #2569-2570 from Assessment fund, and warrant #2571-2586 from LEOF fund. Commissioner Fleer agreed. Approved 2-0. 

Bills: Commissioner Fleer motioned to approve the payments of warrants #31728-31755 from General Revenue, warrants #22092-22104 from Road & Bridge, warrants #5739-5740 from the Assessment, warrants #20845-20861 from L.E.O.F, and warrants # from Co Farm. Commissioner Murphy agreed. Approved 2-0. 

Road & Bridge: Road and Bridge Supervisor Larry Janes and Secretary Colclough were present. Brett Peters with Altorfer was in to discuss the purchase of a 2024 new Cat grader- Commissioner Murphy signed the purchase order for $410,562.00 through Sourcewell membership #111923 

Hauled spot rock moved tree off road #516 

Fixed holes 

Fixed the hill on #464 the water plant road 

Groomed 420, 425, 464, 490, 402, 403, 522, 516 

Bladed #522 

Fixed culvert at #439 

Commissioner Murphy signed the progress invoice #6 for BRO- R056(15) (Orange Street Bridge) for $5,552.94 requested from MoDot- Invoice from Howe Co is for $6,338.97 

Commissioner Murphy signed a Request for RW Acquisition for BRO-R056(15) 

Other Business: The bank has to have the direct deposit by Friday at 3:00 to pay on Monday- it will show pending on some banks, but it is not deposited until Monday anytime- the commission will contact the bank and will discus this again next Monday 

Treasurer Roberson submitted January’s reconciliation 

Mark Luekenhoff was in to discuss the remaining $40,00.00 of the $100,000.00 of the ARPA money the commission set aside for Heartland. Commissioner Murphy said they will discuss and vote on it next Monday when all commissioners are there. 

Adjourn: Motion to adjourn to Tuesday, February 20, 2024, by Commissioner Murphy. Commissioner Fleer agreed, Approved 2-0.
