The Commission met pursuant to order of adjournment on February 20, 2024, with Presiding Commissioner Wayne Murphy Jr., and Associate Commissioners Travis Fleer and Deanne Whiston were present. When and where the following proceedings were had to wit: Commissioner Murphy called the meeting to order:
Minutes: Commissioner Fleer made a motion to approve minutes for February 20, 2023. Commissioner Murphy seconded; Commissioner Whiston agreed. Approved 3-0.
Payroll: Commissioner Murphy motioned to approve the payment of warrants #203310-203311 from General fund, warrants #203312-203317 from Road & Bridge fund, warrants #203318 from Assessment fund, and warrant # from LEOF. Commissioner Fleer seconded; Commissioner Whiston agreed. Passed 3-0.
Payroll: Commissioner Murphy motioned to approve the payment by EFTP of warrants #2587- 2603 from General fund, warrants #2604-2606 from Road & Bridge fund, warrants #2607-2608 from Assessment fund, and warrant #2609-2623 from LEOF fund. Commissioner Fleer seconded; Commissioner Whiston agreed. Approved 3-0.
Bills: Commissioner Fleer motioned to approve the payments of warrants #31784-31798 from General Revenue, warrants #22111-22118 from Road & Bridge, warrants #5743-5745 from the Assessment, warrants #20873-20878 from L.E.O.F, and warrants # from Co Farm. Commissioner Whiston seconded; Commissioner Murphy agreed. Approved 3-0.
Road & Bridge: Road and Bridge Supervisor Larry Janes and Secretary Colclough were present.

Other Business: The sheriff’s office is making Tasha Graves full time as of March 17th
The sheriff’s office hired Matthew Pearl as full time jailer starting at $15.50 as of February 21st
LEOF had a reimbursement check from United Healthcare for insurance overpayment
Commissioner Fleer made a motion to give Hadlee Hope $10,000.00 in ARPA funds. Commissioner Whiston seconded; Commissioner Murphy agreed. Approved 3-0.
The commission approved the financial statement for the Press News Journal- after Clerk Sapp made changes to the descriptions of the vendor payments noted by the commission
Adjourn: Motion to adjourn to Monday, March 6, 2023, by Commissioner Whiston. Commissioner Fleer seconded; Commissioner Murphy agreed, passed 3-0.
