Under the Mayor’s Report, the council voted to declare a 2010 Ford Fusion as surplus city property and authorized sending it to the next McAfee auction. That motion also passed unanimously.

Most of the action for the evening came under the City Administrator’s Report. The council approved a resolution authorizing a contract for the sale of city-owned real estate to Amos Ralph Martin, and a separate resolution authorizing a contract for the sale of real estate to Douglas and Stacey Lewis. Both real estate items passed 6–0.

The council also approved an agreement with Marion County Emergency Services (also known as NECOMM) for access to and use of Central Square Software Services, again on a 6–0 vote. In addition, the board authorized filing an application with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources through the State Revolving Fund Program for loans and/or grants under the Missouri Safe Drinking Water Law.

Finally, the council voted to post Ordinance/Bill #2026-683, which would amend Section 210.010 (Definitions) and Section 210.040 (Confinement of Dogs) of the LaGrange city code. Posting the bill is the next step in the process before any final adoption.

The meeting adjourned at 5:51 p.m.
