Mayor Bob Corbin led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Mayor Bob Corbin called the meeting to order.
Roll Call: Councilmember Robyn Cottrell present, Councilmember James Dade present, Councilmember Carol Henze present, Councilmember Gail Kindhart present, Councilmember Barry Pfister absent, and Councilmember Don Zahn present.
City Employees/Visitors: City Administrator John Roach present, Deputy City Clerk Lezlie Meyer present, City Attorney Jeff Curl present, Public Works Superintendent, Les Eaton present.

Motion by Councilmember Henze approve the consent agenda, motion second by Councilmember Cottrell, motion carried 4 yes, 2 absent.
CITY ENGINEER REPORT – Report attached.
MAYOR’S REPORT – Nothing to Report
CITY CLERK’S REPORT – Nothing to Report
CITY ADMINISTRATOR’S REPORT – Submitted quotes for a Spectrophotometer for the water plant. Hach originally submitted $6,528 then submitted an updated quote for a sale that started for 20% off which makes it $5,497.60
USA Bluebook quote was $6,528.50
Core & Main quote was $7,108.80
John and Les recommended going with Hach as we have other pieces of equipment from them and this would be included in their service plan.
Motion to purchase the Spectrophotometer from Hach was made by Councilmember Henze. This motion was seconded by Councilmember James Dade 4 yes, 2 absent.
John let the council know that the new backhoe arrived this morning and that they were welcomed to go out the city shed to take a look at it.
John let the council know that everyone was signed up for the MML Conference in September.

Adjournment: With nothing further before the Council, Councilmember Cottrell made the motion to adjourn at 6:32 p.m., motion second by Councilmember Dade, motion carried 5 yes, 1 absent.
