October 14, 2025
The Commission met pursuant to order of adjournment on October 6, 2025, with Presiding Commissioner Wayne Murphy Jr., and Associate Commissioners Travis Fleer and Craig Redmon present. When and where the following proceedings were had to wit: Commissioner Murphy called the meeting to order:
Minutes: Commissioner Fleer made a motion to approve minutes for October 6, 2025. Commissioner Murphy seconded; Commissioner Redmon agreed. Approved 3-0.
Payroll: Commissioner Murphy made a motion to approve timecards from September 28th- October 11th, Commissioner Redmon seconded; Commissioner Fleer agreed. Approved 3-0.
Bills: Commissioner Redmon motioned to approve the payments of warrants #33037-33052 from General Revenue, warrants #22800-22814 from Road & Bridge, warrants #5998-6001 from the Assessment, warrants #21472-21480 from L.E.O.F, and warrants # from Co Farm. Commissioner Fleer seconded; Commissioner Murphy
Road & Bridge: Road and Bridge Supervisor Drew Frese and Secretary Colclough were present.

Bleigh would like to start on the Orange Street bridge in early December The commission called Mike Kite about starting early- The commission then called Shannon Howe to discuss the early bridge start- Drew Frese road and bridge supervisor would have to go to the bridge and record the weather conditions on the days they don’t work on the bridge in the log book- Shannon said he will help with anything- the commission are all on board with starting the bridge early

Commissioner Murphy signed a letter to Metlife stating Joseph Bottani with Blue Chip Consortium/Arch Brokerage to be named the agent of record
Geise Plumbing was called to a courthouse for a water leak- he found it under the concrete- he will dig in front of the concrete and bore his way in adding a new water line
Sheriff Parrish had Commissioner Murphy sign the Blue Sheild Grant Program for $50,000 Sheriff Parrish was in to talk to the commission about his budget- Commissioner Murphy ask if the sheriff is keeping an eye on his budget- Sheriff Parrish said that Treasurer Roberson keeps an eye on it – Commissioner Fleer said the $250,000.00 as needed wasn’t a part of his budget unless he needed it- because it can’t be taken away- Sheriff Parrish showed the commission the monthly report he see that Secretary Brown gives to Treasurer Roberson- Commissioner Fleer said after paying for a new vehicle for the sheriff he will only have $140,000.00 for the rest of the year-the commission asked Sheriff Parrish about giving raises- Sheriff Parrish showed the commission how he looks at his budget when giving raises he looks at the line items- the commission asked to know about the raises before they are given- the commission are giving the sheriff $100,000.00 from General Revenue line item #101-185-750411 to LEOF line item #401-000- 470102
Adjourn: Motion to adjourn to Monday, October 20, 2025, by Commissioner Fleer. Commissioner Whiston seconded; Commissioner Murphy agreed, Approved 3-0.
