Tigers Honor Seniors; Bearcats Stay a Step Ahead

Canton, MO – The Canton Tigers took on the Northeast (Cairo) Bearcats as they celebrated Senior Night. 12 total seniors were celebrated for their work and accomplishments in athletics. Prior to the start of the game. Senior Kaden Oliver was presented with his 1,000 Career Points Basketball at center court. An accomplishment he achieved in a game against the North Shelby Raiders on January 16th.

The Canton Tigers started off with a position, and a Kaden Oliver mid-range shot would put the Tigers ahead to start things off. However, the Bearcats would lead the Tigers for the remainder of the night. Seems to stay just a few points ahead of the Tigers. The Bearcats would rally to 19 points in the first quarter, while the Tigers found 11. Cairo added another 20 in the second, with Canton right behind with 17, to send the score at halftime 39-28.
