City of LaGrange, MO Council Meeting Minutes for October 27, 2025 – 5:30pm

Mayor Bob Corbin called the meeting to order.

 Roll Call: Councilmember Robyn Cottrell present, Councilmember James Dade present, Councilmember Carol Henze present, Councilmember Gail Kindhart present, Councilmember Barry Pfister present, and Councilmember Don Zahn present.

City Employees/Visitors:   City Administrator John Roach present, City Clerk Kim Schneider present, City Attorney Jeff Curl present, City Engineer Mark Bross present, Police Chief Aaron Johnson present.  Also present Mr. & Mrs. Brett Ellison

CONSENT AGENDA:  

Approval of Agenda – October 27, 2025

Approval of Minutes – October 14, 2025

Approval of Bills –

Motion by Councilmember Dade to approve the consent agenda, motion second by Councilmember Kindhart, motion carried 6 yes.

CITY ENGINEER REPORT – No questions. 

MAYOR’S REPORT –Nothing

CITY CLERK’S REPORT – Nothing

CITY ADMINISTRATOR’S REPORT – 

Engineering Agreement Water Project – Jeff has not had a chance to review this document, so John will submit at next meeting.

Review Bill/Ordinance 2025-682 An Ordinance of The City of LaGrange Amending Ordinance Chapter 601 Medical Marijuana Facilities, and updated Establishing Marijuana Facility Restrictions – after discussion, John will call other towns that have micro businesses and see what their perspective is.  This will be placed on the agenda when information is available.

Bomb Gardens LLC Business License –  no discussion

OLD/UNFINISHED BUSINESS: 

Jeff Curl asked if the Railroad had removed the concrete around the railroad tracks and it was reported that it was completed.

NEW BUSINESS:  

John will begin getting prices on a City Car, we are in no hurry to purchase anything at this time.

John will continue researching the Mineral Well problems.

A Flag Pole will be budgeted for Riverview Cemetery for the 2026 Budget Year.

Barry announced First Baptist Church would be hosting Community Thanksgiving Service on Tuesday November 18, 2025 at 7:00pm

Adjournment:  With nothing further before the Council, Councilmember Henze made the motion to adjourn at 6:25 p.m., motion second by Councilmember Cottrell, motion carried 6 yes.
