 1. Preliminaries to Meeting

  1. Call the Meeting to Order.

i. Tom Stark called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.

  1. Roll Call- Quorum Established

i.    Present is Dylan Waterman, Tom Stark, David and Gretchen Keith, Riley Pryor and Bryan Jennings; Quorum Established.. 

  1. Motion to approve the agenda by Bryan Jennings and seconded by David Keith.

2. Consent Agenda

  1. Approval of minutes to be made by David Keith and seconded by Bryan Jennings.
  2. Approval of treasurer’s report given by Gretchen Keith; Motion made by David Keith  and seconded by Bryan Jennings. 

3.  Old Business

  1. Jeff McReynolds from Banner Equipment made a report on 2024 chassis brush trucks. If purchased delivery will be approx. September or October. David Keith made a motion to buy the 2024 chassis truck. Bryan Jennings seconded the motion. Check was written for $20,000.00 for deposit. It was approved to go to the United State Bank for funding to pay the balance on the truck. 
  2. Truck Maintenance: Truck 418 needs brake lights fixed. Master switch on bobcat needs installed. 

 4.  New Business

  1. Brandon Beasley made a statement about recording truck maintenance online to keep better track of routine maintenance on each truck.  The first 3 months of the program is free and then $10.00 a month after that if the department likes and uses it. 

 5.  Officers Report

            a. Dylan Waterman said volunteers are needed on July 12th for the Lewis Co. Fair. Side by side and manpower needed, be there by 6pm. Wednesday night, the fair still needs volunteers if anyone is available. 

b. Riley Pryor has nothing to report. 

6. Questions/Concerns/Comments-  Brandon Beasley states the parade for La Grange will be July 4th at 5pm. Will need to line up around 4-4:30 for the parade. 

Debbie Love from Durham wants to know if the fire dept can do a control burn on Friday night July 5th at 7pm. 

John Waterman wanted to thank the fire dept for paying for the Air Vac for volunteers. 

7. Closed session Per statute 610.021 Section 3- None

 8. Regular Monthly meeting to be held on August 6th,, 2024 at 7pm at Station #1,Ewing, MO  

 9. Adjournment- motion to adjourn the meeting by David Keith, seconded Bryan Jennings.

             Meeting Adjourned 7:45 pm.
