La Grange City Council Meeting Minutes January 26, 2026


LA GRANGE, MO – Key notes from the most recently approved LaGrange City Council meeting on January 26, 2026:

The council spent considerable time discussing a possible regional water partnership with Clark County Water. After weighing unanswered questions and concerns, the council voted unanimously to send a formal letter stating LaGrange does not intend to regionalize with Clark County Water at this time.

Mayor Corbin publicly thanked the city crew for their snow removal work over the recent weekend storm.

Under the City Administrator’s report, the council moved through several action items. They completed all readings and unanimously passed an Ordinance/Bill updating the city’s dog regulations.

The council also voted to post a Bill/Ordinance regarding definitions and restrictions on the operation of video gaming machines in LaGrange.

The council approved a legal services agreement with the firm Curl, Hark & Holliday LLC. 

Looking ahead to summer, they voted to hire Trevon Dawson as the Fourth of July entertainment for 2026 at a cost of $5,000.
